There are many ways to generate traffic. There is "targeted" (a.k.a. qualified) traffic and "un-targeted" traffic. I focus on qualified traffic for obvious reasons: that is your warm market, most likely to buy from you.

The following is a list of methods I like to use as part of my internet marketing campaign packages. Dynamic! Web Marketing Methodology

I will help my clients to design a custom web marketing campaign. Each campaign comes with site optimization and tracking automatically built in. Site optimization basically means making the site "sticky". Tracking is the ability to monitor the response and effectiveness of every marketing method used to illicit potential customers response. Methods range from e-mail marketing to web traffic stats to affiliate programs.

My philosophy is to create a goal, then build the campaign with budget considerations. Then, to launch the campaign, begin with only one method and build it out as far as possible before moving on to the next method. Usually, the first method is search engine optimization (SEO) hand in hand with sound e-mail infrastructure to handle response professionally.
